Artist's Biography
Erik Frydenborg received his BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art and his MFA from the University of Southern California. His work has been reviewed in Artforum, Flash Art, and the Los Angeles Times, among other publications. Frydenborg’s work recently appeared in solo exhibitions at Cherry and Martin (Los Angeles) and The Suburban (Oak Park, IL), and in the group exhibitions On Forgery: Is One Thing Better Than Another? at LA><ART (Los Angeles) and Touchy Feely at Human Resources (Los Angeles). In June 2012, Frydenborg will present a solo project in Statements at Art Basel (Basel, Switzerland). Frydenborg lives and works in Los Angeles.

Curator's Biography
Brian Bress is a Los Angeles-based artist and filmmaker. Born in Norfolk, VA, in 1975, Brian received his BFA from RISD and his MFA from UCLA. Recent solo exhibitions include Interventions: Brian Bress, Santa Barbara Museum of Art; Brian Bress: Status Report, New Museum, New York; and Brian Bress: Under Performing, Cherry and Martin, Los Angeles. Recent group exhibitions include Future Present: Five Artists, Five Weeks, Arthouse at the Jones Center, Austin; Stagecraft, curated by David Norr, University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum; Object Orientation: Bodies and/as Things, Cerritos College Art Gallery, Norwalk, CA; and Staff Curated Video Show, LA><Art, Los Angeles.
