In 2010, Emma Gray launched Emma GrayHQ (EGHQ), a one-year project space for contemporary art on La Cienega Blvd in Culver City. Gray was also the former Features and West Coast Editor for ArtReview Magazine and a columnist for Artnet and Saatchi. Most recently she worked as West Coast consultant to the New York-based firm The Heller Group. EGHQ, a small, triangle-shaped gallery, was established in September 2010 until August 2011 to showcase contemporary artists who were invited to create month-long site-specific exhibitions. EGHQ has been featured in The Art Newspaper and Angeleno Magazine and the shows there have been reviewed in Artforum, The L.A. Times and L.A. Weekly among other publications.
