Like the book Abstract Video: The Moving Image in Contemporary Art, this program is a diverse consideration of how the abstract is manifested in the moving image arts. The program comprises contemporary and historical works with all artists included being discussed in the volume and representing the breadth, depth and variety the collection has to offer. Works screened will range from pure filmic abstraction, to animation, to digital image manipulations, and narratives.
