Friday afternoon, LACE will host INFESTATION, a 2-hour collaborative performance by Brian Getnick and Kristian van der Heyden to take place throughout Barker Hangar and culminating in the amphitheater. INFESTATION explores the dual roles of the performance artist’s body allegorically as both a laborer and a pest — dependent upon art institutions to validate the work while simultaneously thriving in the radical freedom performance provides as existing outside the traditional art world “trade.”
