LACE is proud to be collaborating with Slanguage to present the first installment of Practice Sessions, an educational initiative and online video series that creates critical visibility for artists working in the public sphere. This ongoing video series will showcase public art projects that engage numerous collaborators and stakeholders. The first three videos focus on Slanguage and its community, collaborative and public art practice. This will also be the culminating event for high school students participating in the Youth Art Apprenticeship Program (YAPA) at William Grant Still Center in residency with Karla Diaz and working with Mobile Mural Lab to create a new mural.
