Art and Activism!

Art and Activism!
Sunday December 11, 2016 1-5PM
Co-presented by Micol Hebron, Suzanne Wright, The Situation Room, Freewaves, and LACE
Join us at LACE for an afternoon of making political signs, posters, banners and flags in the wake of the election, and in anticipation of the Women’s marches on Washington and Los Angeles. There will be artist-activists on site to guide sign-making sessions. Come meet other artists and activists, share stories, slogans, and images. Look at historic political slogans and signs. Make signs for yourself or your friends to hold at upcoming protests and marches. We will have some supplies on site, but participants are encouraged and welcomed to bring their own materials too (markers, paper, cardboard, cardstock, etc.)
The event is free and open to the public of all ages.
