Manifesto Armado, un performance y Charla en línea con La Revuelta .
La Revuelta es un colectivo de mujeres guatemaltecas que buscan construir una comunidad de aprendizaje comunitario y colaborativo en donde las mujeres puedan generar sus propios caminos en el campo artístico. Desde sus inicios, el colectivo fue conformado por Renata Álvarez, Andrea López, Maya Juracán, Christa Krings y Jimena Galán Dary, quienes se encuentran en una constante capacitación sobre curaduría y gestión cultural.
En este evento se presentará el performance en línea Manifesto Armado, llevado a cabo durante la pandemia el 14 de noviembre del 2020. Al final tendremos una conversación con tres miembros de La Revuelta (Maya Juracán, Renata ) y el equipo curatorial de Intergalactix, sobre cómo tejer colaboraciones (intergalactix), mantenerlas y sostener el espíritu radical y creativo.
La Revuelta es un colectivo de mujeres guatemaltecas que buscan construir una comunidad de aprendizaje comunitario y colaborativo en donde las mujeres puedan generar sus propios caminos en el campo artístico. Desde sus inicios, el colectivo fue conformado por Renata Álvarez, Andrea López, Maya Juracán, Christa Krings y Jimena Galán Dary, quienes se encuentran en una constante capacitación sobre curaduría y gestión cultural. Somos un colectivo de y para mujeres que buscan nombrarse y reconocerse dentro de la escena cultural, política y social. Nuestro propósito es recontar la historia por nosotras al crear un espacio interseccional y descentralizado. Proponemos una revuelta para recuperar espacios y voces que fueron silenciadas en el canon de la historia, al utilizar como herramienta el arte de la posibilidad. Informamos, denunciamos y activamos las curadurías comunitarias que recuperan el tejido social a través de las mujeres, en referencia a que somos diversas e hilos de muchos colores (Cabnal, 2010).

Performance and Online Talk with La Revuelta
La Revuelta is a collective of Guatemalan women who seek to build a collaborative learning community where women can generate their own paths in the artistic field. Since its inception, the collective has been formed by Renata Álvarez, Andrea López, Maya Juracán, Christa Krings and Jimena Galán Dary, who are in constant training on curatorship and cultural management.
In this event we will present the online performance Manifesto Armado, which happened during the pandemic on November 14, 2020. At the end we will have a conversation with three members of La Revuelta (Maya Juracán, Renata) and the curatorial team of Intergalactix, about how to weave collaborations (intergalactix), maintain them and sustain the radical and creative spirit.
La Revuelta is a collective of Guatemalan women who seek to build a collaborative learning community where women can generate their own paths in the artistic field. Since its inception, the collective was formed by Renata Álvarez, Andrea López, Maya Juracán, Christa Krings and Jimena Galan Dary, who are in constant training on curatorial and cultural management. We are a collective of and for women who seek to name and recognize themselves within the cultural, political and social scene. Our purpose is to retell history for us by creating an intersectional and decentralized space. We propose a revolt to recover spaces and voices that were silenced in the canon of history, using the art of possibility as a tool. We inform, denounce and activate community curatorships that recover the social fabric through women, in reference to the fact that we are diverse and threads of many colors (Cabnal, 2010).
