Chris Burden and Nancy Rubins: Monument to Megalopolises / Past and Future

November 13 – December 27, 1987

A collaborative work by Nancy Rubins and Chris Burden, who created a massive assemblage of water-powered electrical generating systems, airplane parts and steels, to form, in their own words, “a living monument to megaloplises, past and future.” Supported in part by a National Endowment for the Arts lnter-Arts Project grant.
