An installation of watercolor scrolls by Italian artist Luigi Otani. A large papier-mache mask was made in collaboration with Mari Cardenas from Self-Help Graphics. Commissioned by LACE and made in Los Angeles, this installation was part of a city-wide exhibition, II Modo Italiano, organized by Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art (LAICA). Sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts Museum Program; Ente-Regione Piemonte, Italy; First Los Angeles Bank/Instituto Bancario San Paolo Di Torino; the Italian Institue of Culture, San Francisco; Italian Consulate, Los Angeles; Alitalia; Martha and Tom Bodman and Ermenegildo Zegna, USA.
