Paroxysm of Sublime Closing Event: Tea Ceremony by Nine Herbs Charm Followed by a Meditative Walk to Highland Park with David Horvitz

November 3, 2019 3 to 6pm

We will begin to say goodbye to the exhibition with a tea serving by Nine Herbs Charm (Eric Kim, Saewon Oh, and Hannah Mjølsnes) inspired by the plumeria plant at 3pm.

Afterwards, join David Horvitz for a meditative walk to bring Plumeria Tree for FLAX from LACE in Hollywood to the FLAX House in Highland Park. The artist will take the participants on a guided walk to the FLAX House where the plumeria tree will be planted. Light refreshments and snacks will be served in the backyard. The walk is meant to connect the two points; while completing the entire walk is ideal, participants should all start at LACE but can choose to leave the walk early to arrive at the FLAX House by other means.

The walk will begin at 5pm and will take place largely after sunset; participants are encouraged to dress appropriately and bring flashlights.
