Sara Diamond: Re-focusing History

February 26 – March 28, 1993

Influences of my mother (1981) examined the way in which her childhood experiences with her mom helped mold her independent spirit; Ten Dollars or Nothing! (1989) explored the history of women cannery workers in B.C. in the 1930s; and The Wall Before the Storm (1990) looked at women in the postwar era. Curated by O. Funmilayo Makarah.
