A national fanzine convention dominated by a queercore contingent from urban areas. These self-produced and distributed magazines give voice and visibility to a growing population of homemade misfits, disaffected dykes and fags, and those who find themselves outside the mainstreams of American culture. Stars and artists display their talents in band performances, dancing, video performances, and impromptu open-mike performances.
