Video and audio tapes told the story of the 1980 takeover of a vacant city-owned showroom on Manhattan’s Lower East Side by 30 artists for a three-day exhibition. Included documentation of the city lock-out that led the artists to a new exhibition space. Organized by Becky Howland and Alan Moore.
