Visit LACE and LACA (Los Angeles Contemporary Archive) at Booth I3 at Printed Matter’s 2023 LA Art Book Fair! The seventh edition of LAABF will take place August 10–13, 2023, at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITORS
(LACA) is a public archive and library dedicated to contemporary art-making. LACA moves towards understanding, rupturing, and celebrating a communal art practice and life that is not overdetermined by values that favor wealth creation and sustain historical inequities. Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) both champions and challenges the art of our time by fostering artists who innovate, explore, and risk. We move within and beyond our four walls to provide opportunities for diverse publics to engage deeply with contemporary art.
ABOUT LA ART BOOK FAIR
Initiated in 2013, the LA Art Book Fair is a celebration and international gathering for artists’ book publishers to distribute their work, connect with broad audiences, and nurture new and longstanding relationships. The Fair will feature a wide range of artists and collectives, small presses, institutions, galleries, antiquarian booksellers, and distributors, as well as a full calendar of book launches, discussions, performances, and special projects that highlight interdisciplinary artists’ publishing practices.
