During this extraordinary time the organizers of Giving Tuesday have added today – May 5th – as an extra Giving Tuesday. We use this opportunity to give thanks to you for supporting LACE in all the ways you do. Thank you to artists, curators, collectives, apprentices, and other non-profits who are our collaborators. Thank you to participants in our programming. And thank you to our financial advocates – board members, benefit sponsors, art collectors, and donors who care about LACE’s special mission of supporting experimental and socially-conscious work.
The LACE Team continues to add podcasts, publications, and other media to enrich the archives on our web site and share more of our history as the longest-running incubator for artists and curators in LA. We look forward to being together again at LACE later this year and to share Intergalactix: against isolation/contra el aislamiento. This project and exhibition have been in the works for three years, supported with a Warhol Curatorial Research Fellowship of Daniela Lieja Quintanar, and exhibition underwriting from The Mike Kelley Foundation.
